Bambino Dance

Walkers – 24 mths with parent participation (drop-in class)

This class is often the highlight of my teaching week. Each natural progression made by our tiny dancers, is exaggerated in class and parents are amazed at how quickly they respond to exercises. Tiny dancers are encouraged to stretch, move, wiggle, learn to jump, stand with feet together, share and do so with patience.

2 – 2.5 yrs with parent participation

This imagination based program has been developed by Miss Tara over the last 10 years and continues to inspire young ballerinas to move, dance and conduct themselves with confidence in all areas of their little lives. It is a very cute (and productive) introduction to dance!

2.5 – 3.5 yrs

Our approach is to make these classes fun whilst providing a strong dance foundations. Classes are intuitively structured to suit all little dancers according to their mood and energy levels on the day. Students quickly settle into routine adjusting to new faces and instructions making ballet class the highlight of the week.

Bambino Boys (2.5 – 4yrs) (Hoping to one day run this class. Come on boys!)

A great introduction to dance, for boys only! Each class is fun and engaging and encourages boys to explore their bodies creatively and musically. They will also learn about the importance of strong muscles too.

4 yrs

Whilst still magical and whimsical, these classes are designed to develop poise, co-ordination and rhythmical response. There is an introduction to basic ballet technique with emphasis placed on what the students are comfortable with “trying”. No two classes are essentially the same but a regular routine is established.

Bambino Jazz (3 – 5 yrs)

We will be following the same class structure as the ballet classes, instead of classical music we will be dancing to cute and funky dance tunes. The classes are dynamic by nature and students are encouraged to work on their natural flexibility and strength.

5 – 6 yrs

These classes are a natural progression from dance interpretation to the more structured class. This program is implemented in a unique and creative way whilst reviewing the foundation of ballet technique. The classes focus on building confidence and positive group dynamics, preparing the students for performance and assessment tasks should they wish to further their dance studies.
